Why You Should Read “See You at Harry’s” By Jo Knowles Right Now!

See you at Harry's is a realistic fiction book about a toddler who dies. KEEP READING. This book is about a family who has a family business, so they see each other a lot, however, they are not close. They are all dealing with personal problems. Fern, the main character has Fern left out by her family since Charlie was born causing her to hate him. (He is 3) Fern is forced to babysit her annoying little brother (Charlie), until, after looking away for split second, her little brother is walking onto the street. Not being able to catch him, he gets hit by a car. However, he is fine, not a scratch. Thinking he was okay fern doesn’t tell his parents. Until the next morning, he doesn’t wake up. He suffered brain injuries that if doctors saw sooner, he could have lived. Fern struggles with feeling guilty for multiple aspects of his passing. Fern’s family gets closer than ever and slowly becomes stronger as a family. It is very well written and engaging. Reading it was like watching a movie. This book is heartwarming and heartbreaking I love it though and would 100 % recommend reading it.

            “Wow!” I said to myself after reading this book, “that was terrible”. This book was Lola and the Boy Next Door , and it took a real effort to finish the book. More than 90% of this book was about a forbidden teenage romance, and I hate romance novels.             The book starts off fast when Lola’s first crush, Cricket, moves back to San Francisco.               Marie Lu is an amazing writer, and she demonstrates that in her novel, Warcross . Warcross is about a poor 18-year-old, Emika Chen, living on the streets of New York. Much of her income comes from hunting down players in the Neuro Link. The Neuro Link is a way to play Warcross by creating a virtual reality. Warcross is a mix between Overwatch and League of Legends. Anyways, she is essentially a virtual bounty hunter with an incredible ability to hack through and understand the code of Warcross. However, desperate for money, she exploits into a Warcross match to try and steal a valuable powerup, a buff, that can be sold money; however, her coding backfires and she spawns into the game.
